M. Patricia Malone, 85 of Scituate passed away March 23 2016.  Patricia (Costello) was the wife of the late Edward G Malone and Mother of Edward Malone and wife Dana of Plainfield, Indiana; Tricia Perry and husband Bill of Sharon, MA; Julianne Bouchard of Miami, Florida; the late Patrick Malone,   Christopher Malone and wife Terry of Centerville, MA; Kathleen Laroche of Midlothian, Virginia;  Sheila Malone of McDonough, Georgia ; Eileen Corbett and husband  Chris of Norwell, MA; Jeremiah and wife Catherine of Charlotte, North Carolina.  Grandmother of 22 and Great-Grandmother of 1.

Pat grew up in Brookline and lived near the sea in Scituate for 56 years.   A proud Regis College graduate, Pat was the first female student to take business courses and received her Masters in Business Education from Boston College.   Pat was an executive and Treasurer at Cohasset Savings Bank and, post-retirement went to UMASS Boston and studied gerontology so that she could help other seniors.   She loved sports, especially football, and rooted for her BC Eagles and any professional team Tom Coughlin coached.  She was active in her parish and an avid volunteer at South Shore Hospital.  An election didn't pass without seeing her working the polls.     Pat will be missed dearly by her brother, Tom and wife Dera from Cincinatti, Ohio,  and her sister in-law, Mary Malone and brother in-law Bernard Malone and wife Joan.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at 12 noon in St. Anthony Church, 129 So. Main St., Cohasset.
