Malcolm R. Spearin, age 92, of Cohasset, passed away on April 22, 2016 peacefully with family at his side. Beloved husband for 68 years of the late Beverly K. (Kyner) Spearin; the two were in love for over 72 years and were married the night before his deployment into World War II. Malcolm was the loving father of Thomas A. Spearin of Norwell, Richard A. Spearin of Falmouth, Susan E. Chipman of Cohasset, and Mark J. Spearin of South Port, NC. He was the loving grandfather of twelve and great-grandfather of seventeen.

Mr. Spearin was a veteran of  World War II, serving in the the US Army. He received a Bronze Star Medal, Purple Heart, and three Bronze Service Stars for his courageous service. Upon return to civilian life, Mr. Spearin worked as a plumber for Ayles Plumbing.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, May 6, 2016 at 10 am in St. Anthony Church, Cohasset.
