Margaret C. (Crowley) Chapin, age 88, of Cohasset, passed away on Nov. 6, 2020.

A beautifully talented singer, story-teller and gifted artist, Margaret was a founding member of the Cohasset Community Garden Club. She also volunteered her time and talents to the Glastonbury Abbey by decorating the altar with flowers. Margaret was always very well appointed and mannered.

Margaret was the beloved wife of the later Henry "Harry" Chapin and the loving mother of Hannah Chapin Foley and her husband, the late James Foley, of Scituate and the late John "Jesse" Chapin. She was the beloved sister of Flora "Kate" Crowley of Cohasset.

Margaret was the adoring grandmother of Cameron John Foley, Holden Joseph Foley, Grayce Chapin Foley, Jason Henry Chapin, and David Andrew Chapin.

A Celebration of Life and Mass will be celebrated for Margaret at a later date when friends and family can truly gather together.
