Margaret (Costello) Gregson, age 87, of Norwell, formerly of Marshfield, and Hingham, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by those who love her on January 14, 2015. Beloved wife of the late John Gregson. Adored mother of John (Jack) Gregson, Jr of Norwell, Maura Gregson of Plymouth, and Michael Gregson of Norwell. Loving grandmother of William and John J. Gregson, Catherine DiLorenzo and John P. Gregson. Also survived by her loving Goldendoodles, Holly and Tilly.

Mrs. Gregson was born in Brighton and lived in Westwood, Maryland, and Illinois, before returning to Massachusetts, where she resided in Hingham, and Marshfield, until recently moving to Norwell. No matter where she lived, family was the true center of her life.

A Mass of Christian Burial and Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, January 17, 2015 at 10 am in St. Helen Church, 383 Washington Street (Rt. 53), Norwell. Visiting hour to be held prior to the Mass from 8:30-9:30 am in McNamara-Sparrell Funeral Home, 30 Central St. (off Rt. 1233, near State Police Barracks), Norwell Center. Interment Couch Cemetery, Marshfield, MA. In lieu of flowers, donations to honor Mrs. Gregson may be made to the Alzheimer's Assoc., 480 Pleasant Street, Watertown, MA. 02472.
