Marguerite "Sis" (Logan) Carey, age 88, of Cohasset, formerly of East Milton, passed away peacefully on July 15, 2011. Beloved wife of the late Richard J. Carey, she was the devoted mother of Richard J. of Sherborn; John F. of Duxbury; James M. of Wakefield, RI; Marguerite Laws of Newport News, VA.; Kathleen Coffey of Harvard, MA.; Claire M. Goulding of Groton, MA. Sister of Claire McClean of Cape Cod, formerly of Cohasset, and the late Francis D. Logan, Irene Logan, James Logan, Vincent Logan, Arthur Logan, and William Logan. Loving grandmother of seven devoted grandchildren.

Sis was a graduate of Notre Dame Academy, Roxbury and Chandler Business School, Boston. She then worked for many years as a secretary for the Treasurer of United Fruit Co.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, July 20, 2011 at 10 am in St. Anthony Church, Cohasset preceded by Visiting Hours from 9 -10 am in McNamara-Sparrell Funeral Home, 1 Summer St. (Directly across from St. Anthony Church), Cohasset, MA. 02025.
