Marilyn Frances (Lambert) Fredrickson of Norwell passed away on February 20th, 2024 at the age of 94 at South Shore Hospital after a period of declining health.

She was a lifelong resident of Norwell and the beloved wife of the late Carl Fredrick Fredrickson.  She was the daughter of the late Ralph and Edith (Mott) Lambert and was predeceased by her brothers Gordon and Lawrence.

She was the loving and devoted mother of Carl of Norwell, Bruce and his wife Debra (Waters) of Hanson, Gerald and his wife Pamela (Stevens) of Westford and Scott and his partner Craig Richards of Plymouth.

She is also survived by four grandchildren: Michael and his wife Rachael,  Jeffrey and his wife Nicole, Emily and Matthew and two great grandchildren: Lillian and Benjamin who she adored.

She was a graduate of Norwell High School 1947 and Burdett College, Boston. After raising her family she worked in the office at the family business Fredrickson Brothers for 40 years.

She was a gifted knitter and baker and enjoyed hosting gatherings where she was surrounded by her family.

Marilyn will be deeply missed by all those whose lives she touched. A private service and burial will be held.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Marilyn's memory to the Norwell Visiting Nurse Association and Hospice.
