Marilyn Eleanor Wessman passed away on April 1, 2025.

Life well lived

Long term scout leader in Scituate, including running Scituate GS Day Camp for many years.  Worked as a Scituate public school kitchen manager for many years.  Marilyn was an avid life-long crafter.  Very creative from cake decorating to painting, to ceramics to quilting.

Daughter of Merald and Josephine (Otto) Tuttle of East Orange NJ.

Loving wife of 65 years to the late Ernest Wessman, loving mother to Lori (Dave Bresnahan) Hebron NH, Debbie (Craig Watt) Montpelier, Vermont, David, (Coni Miller, Scituate MA), Cindy Courtney and her companion Daniel Rourke, Weymouth MA , Michael (Jeannie DiVitto Plymouth MA), Mary (Edward Scarsilloni, Lake Suzy, Fla) and Nancy (Robert Bartlett) Scituate MA. Sister to RuthAnn Skirbst (New Jersey), and the late Joan Cutrer.

Also survived by 14 Grandchildren and 19 Great Grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A celebration of her life is planned for May 10th at the Second Congregational Church in Cohasset at 10 am.  In lieu of flowers donations in her name, may be made to a charity of your choice.
