Mark J
St. John
October 19, 1958 – May 20, 2023
Mark J. St. John of Quincy, formerly of Cohasset passed away on May 20, 2023
In his 64 years of life, Mark "Saint" St John lived his life to the limit every day. His life touched the lives of so many people.
Mark was born and raised in Cohasset, MA. The second of six siblings. He is survived by his brothers, Brian St John of Hull, Ma, Brendan St. John of Cohasset MA, and Martin St John of Cohasset Ma. He was one of Cohasset's original "ravers". He always bragged of being Sandy Beach's longest acting life guard, walking up and down the beach "raving" with everyone.
In the summer when the Music Circus would be open, Donnie and Marie Osmond would go water skiing with Mark on his boat "The Saint". Lou Rawls, Glenn Campbell all would come to the house to look for Mark to go party with.
After graduating from Cohasset High Mark attended AIC, American International College.
After trying out college, Marks love of people and ability to rave led him into sales. Looking for a change of scenery Mark moved to Phoenix Arizona got a period of time. Upon returning home he suffered a life threatening accident which left him with long lasting injuries that led to drug addiction and homelessness. However he managed to turn that around and got a job working with Bostons homeless with then Mayor Marty Walsh. He loved helping people in need.
His next battle was with lung cancer. With that diagnosis and the recent losses of his parents Paul and Joan St John hie declined rapidly until his death.
