Mary Theresa (Keegan) McDonnell- age 86, of Hull, died peacefully at her daughter's home surrounded by her family on March 24, 2012. Beloved wife for 63 years of the late Joseph F. McDonnell. Loving mother of Joseph G. McDonnell and his wife Teresa of Wannaska, MN, William J. McDonnell and his wife Wendy Alpaugh of Stonington, ME, Stephen J. McDonnell and his wife Jean Penta, Mark J. McDonnell and his wife Doreen, all of Hull, and Mary-Jo Sunnerberg and her husband Steven of Scituate. Dear sister of Alice E. Keegan and the late William Keegan. Devoted grandmother of 19 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Graduate of Jamaica Plain High School in 1943. Employed as a secretary at MIT during World War II. She enjoyed many happy years singing in the choir at St. Ann's Church in Hull.

A Mass in celebration of Mary's life will be held on Wednesday, March 28, 2012 at 10:30 am in St. Ann's Church, 208 Samoset Ave., Hull, Ma. Visitation prior to the Mass will be held at 9:45 am in the Church. Interment private.
