Mary Ellen (McDermott) Patrolia, age 82, of Cohasset, passed away peacefully on January 30, 2013surrounded by family. Beloved wife for 59 years of Charles "Ted" Patrolia and the loving mother of Nora Kohler of Cape Coral, FL., Rebecca Tabaczynski of Lexington, Mark Patrolia of Hingham, Martin Patrolia of Dedham, Mariclare Cheney of Marshfield, Kevin Patrolia of Norwell, Timothy Patrolia of Cohasset, Daniel Patrolia of Stoughton and the late Patti Desmond. She was the adoring grandmother of 10 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren. Mary Ellen was the beloved sister of the late Nora Whited, Alice Wilson, Patricia O'Leary and Leo Schmack. She is also survived numerous nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, February 2, 2013 at 11 am in St. Anthony Church, Cohasset. Visiting hours Friday, Feb. 1, 2013 from 4-7 pm in McNamara-Sparrell Funeral Home, 1 Summer St. (across from St. Anthony Church), Cohasset. Interment Woodside Cemetery, Cohasset. In lieu of flowers, donations to honor Mary Ellen may be made to the National Parkinson's Foundation, Gift Processing Center
