Mary Agnes (Woods) Shorey of Cohasset, MA passed away peacefully at her home on
January 20, 2011 at the age of 101 with family, wonderful caregivers, and friends by herside. Beloved wife of the late Eldon L. Shorey for 58 years. Resided in Winchester,
MA for over 40 years. Devoted mother of Jean L. Lennon of Cohasset, MA. Cherished
grandmother of Therese Joslin of Santa Monica, CA and Gregory Lennon and his wife
Maria Lennon of Cohasset, MA. Proud great grandmother of Harrison Shorey Joslin and
Olivia Mary Joslin of Santa Monica, CA, and Sophia Mary Lennon of Cohasset, MA.

Born in Boston, MA to John W. and Florence (Handley) Woods. Mary was one of four
children. Sister of the late John H. Woods, Ann G. Barclay, and Joseph F. Woods. Dear
aunt to Robert Barclay of Lexington, MA.

Mary was best known for her sense of humor, strong faith in God, and her love of
patriotism. She loved spending time with her family. Not only will we miss the presence
of Nanny, we will miss the person who entertained us, cooked for us, loved us, and
listened to us. This wonderful woman touched our lives.
