Mary J. Healey, 91, of Hingham, MA and Avon, CT, beloved wife of Daniel F. Healey, died peacefully on Saturday, August 24, 2024. She was born in Somerville, MA on October 22, 1932, daughter of the late James L. and Evelyn L. (Quinn) Shoulder, sister of the late James V Shoulder and late Evelyn Shoulder Boyle. She is survived by her seven children who love her dearly, Daniel F. Healey, Jr. of New Hartford, CT, Mary T. Healey of Hingham, MA, Patricia H. and husband John Sullivan of Dover, NH, James L. Healey of Simsbury, CT, Virginia M. and husband Kevin Boyle of Millis, MA, Thomas C. Healey and wife Michelle of Natick, MA, and Joseph E. Healey and wife Elizabeth of Harpers Ferry, WV; nine grandchildren; and three great grandchildren. Friends may call at the Church of St. Ann in Avon, CT on Friday September 6, 2024 at 10:00 am. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Avon, CT. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to a charity of your choice.
