Maxine M. (Perry) Leary, age 85, of Scituate, passed away on Sept. 5, 2015 after a brief illness at the Life Care Center of the South Shore in Scituate. Wife of the late Donald J. Leary. Beloved mother of Helen M. Leary and husband Bob Stafford of Scituate, Dennis P. Leary of Marshfield, Anne E. Whitman and husband John of Peaks Island, ME., Janet P. Leary of Portland, ME., and the late Stephen L. Leary. Also survived by seven grandchildren.

Mrs. Leary was the retired Secretary at the Cushing Elementary School in Scituate.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, Sept. 11, 2015 at 10 am in St. Anthony Church, 10 Summer St., Cohasset. Visiting hours Thursday, Sept. 10, 2015 from 4-7 pm in McNamara-Sparrell Funeral Home, 160 So. Main St., (across from St Anthony Church), Cohasset. Interment St. Mary Cemetery, Scituate.
