Michael J. Coscia, age 82, of Scituate, and Port St. Lucie, FL., passed away on April 24, 2012. Beloved husband of 53 years to Alice M. (Turner) and the devoted father of Kathryn A. Coscia of Braintree, Michael J. Coscia, Jr. and his wife, Laurie of Scituate, John J. Coscia and his wife, Lee Ellen of Marshfield. Cherished Papa of Michael and Jacqueline Coscia of Scituate. Brother of Olga T. Harrigan, Claire Hartwell both of Scituate. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Mr. Coscia was the owner of Bostonia Furniture Co. of North Station. He was a graduate of Wentworth and a member of Hatherly Country Club and Eagle Marsh Country Club in Florida.

A Funeral from the McNamara-Sparrell Funeral Home,1 Summer St. (Across from St. Anthony Church), Cohasset at 9 am on Friday, April 27, 2012 followed by a Funeral Mass at 10 am in St. Mary of the Nativity Church, 1 Kent St., Scituate, MA. 02066. Visiting hours Thursday, April 26, 2012 in McNamara-Sparrell Funeral Home, Cohasset from 4-8 pm. Interment private.
