Michael William McLaughlin, age 51, of Pembroke, formerly of Norwell, passed away suddenly on April 13, 2012. Mike was the husband of Karen E. (Shedd) of Pembroke . He was the father of Leeanne O'Donnell and her husband Ryan of Weymouth, Megan McLaughlin of Sandwich, and Michael D. McLaughlin of Sandwich. He was the brother of  Robert McLaughlin of Plymouth, and Susan McIntosh of Mashpee. He was the grandfather of Colin O'Donnell and is also survived by Kathryn McLaughlin of Sandwich.

Mike was an avid outdoorsman and loyal Boston Sports fan.

Visiting hours on Wednesday April 18, 2012 from 5-8 pm in McNamara-Sparrell Funeral Home, 30 Central St. (off Rt. 123, near State Police Barracks), Norwell Center. A Funeral Service will be held on FRIDAY, April 20, 2012 at 10:30 am in McNamara-Sparrell Funeral Home, Norwell. Interment Washington Street Cemetery, Norwell.
