Muriel L. (Mencke) Wheelwright, age 92, of Cohasset, died peacefully on October 24, 2012. Beloved wife of the late Frank S. Wheelwright. Loving mother of Sandra J. Figgie and her husband, Peter of Enfield, CT. and Ormond Beach, FL., Cheryl A. Wheelwright and her husband Stephen Mahoney of Salem, NH. Sister of the late George Mencke, Jr. Cherished grandmother of Scott D. Shain of Plymouth and Kevin J. Shain of Marshfield. Also survived by her great-grandchildren, Sarah E. Shain, Maia D. Shain and Nathaniel D. Shain.

Muriel was a staple figure in the town of Cohasset for most of her life, presiding as the executive secretary for over 28 years at the Second Congregational Church in Cohasset, and as the wife of Frank for 64 years.

Relatives and Friends are welcome to a Memorial Service held on Saturday, Nov. 3, 2012 at 11:00am at the Second Congregational Church, 43 Highland Ave., Cohasset. Visiting hours and interment Private. In lieu of flowers, donations to honor Muriel may be made to the Second Congregational Church, Cohasset.
