Nancy J. Gustafson, 73, of So. Weymouth died peacefully at South Shore Hospital on Sunday September 10th, 2023 with friends and family by her side. Born in1950, she grew up in Hingham, MA, and earned an advanced degree from Chandler Secretarial School. She was a talented athlete who loved playing softball, had a strong work ethic and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She was the Office Manager at Tern Harbor Marina. Nancy was a caring person with a playful spirit who also had a witty sense of humor.

Nancy was the youngest daughter of Myrle M. and Edgar B. Gustafson, of Hingham, MA.  She is survived by two sisters, Linda Rief and her husband, George, of Durham, NH and Bonnie Mallon, of Weymouth, MA. She had 25 nieces and nephews who she adored and loved very much.

She also loved and cared for her dogs and cats throughout her lifetime, and leaves behind her precious cat Sadie.  Nancy was a loving sister, aunt, great aunt, and dear friend and will be greatly missed by all who were a part of her life. In lieu of flowers, donations in Nancy's name to standishhumane.org (Duxbury, MA) would make Nancy grateful and happy.
