IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Nancy L.
(Keefe) Crowley
January 13, 2024
Nancy Crowley died in the same way she lived: on her own terms and in her own time. She passed away peacefully on January 13 at the age of 94 with family at her side. A longtime Norwell resident, Nancy was the loving wife of the late George Crowley and the daughter of Edward and Edith Keefe; she was the sister and sister-in-law of the late Paul and Theresa Keefe. "Big Nancy" is survived by numerous loving nieces and nephews.
A graduate of Lesley College, Nancy was a reading teacher for many years. She loved a good book and her colorful garden. If the summer sun was shining, Nancy was packing the picnic basket.
Nancy relished trips with (husband) George to horse shows with their award-winning ponies. She also loved their "biggest dog in the world" (Great Dane) Diablo.
Fun was written into Nancy's DNA: family members fondly remember afternoons splashing in the pool; pails brimming with blueberries from the Patch; and the themed Christmas Eve celebrations she and George hosted.
A consummate of poise and grace, Nancy also loved a good laugh. Her quips will forever be part of family lore.
Private funeral service.
