P. Stephen Mahoney, age 72, of Rockland, formerly of Norwell, passed away on July 30, 2017, surrounded by his family.   Beloved husband of Barbara A. (Ryan) Mahoney. Loving father of Kelly Holland and husband Paul of Pembroke, P. Stephen Mahoney and wife Julie of Scottsdale, AZ, and Michael Mahoney and wife Julianne of Norwell. Proud grandfather of seven. Brother of Nancy Callanan of Scituate and the late Alfred B. Mahoney.

A graduate of Boston College, Steve  owned and operated his own general contracting business on the South Shore.

Family and friends are invited to remember Steve during visiting hours on Wednesday, August 2, 2017 from 4-8 pm in McNamara-Sparrell Funeral Home, 30 Central St. (off Rt 123, near State Police Barracks), Norwell Center. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, Aug. 3, 2017 at 10:00am in St. Thecla's Church, 145 Washington Street (Rt. 53), Pembroke, MA. Interment private.
