Pamela Helene Souther (Rice) of Cohasset , formerly of Scituate passed away on January 27, 2025 at South Shore Hospital, Weymouth. She was 76 years of age.

Born in Cohasset, MA on March 4, 1948 to the late Richard Rice and the late Hildegard (Burbridge) Rice.

Pam worked for many years at Hugos lighthouse restaurant in Cohasset and Jamies Pub in Scituate.

She later returned back to school and became an alcohol and drug addiction counselor which she absolutely loved as well as her patients loved her.

Pam loved to be her daughters Girl Scout leader and volunteer for any school activities.

Loving wife of the late Peter Ross Souther. Loving mother of Sharon R. Silvia and her husband Harry of Cohasset. Loving grandmother of Shelby Silvia and her fiancée Garrett of Bethel, Maine and Shannon Silvia of Cohasset. Pam is also survived by many loving cousins and friends. Pamela also leaves behind her beloved cat "Joey".

A Celebration of Life will be held at 10:30 am on Monday, February 3rd, 2025 at the Second Congregational Church-43 Highland Avenue, Cohasset, MA. Relatives and friends invited to attend and join the family for light refreshments afterwards. Burial will be private.
