Patricia J. Daly, of Scituate, Massachusetts, passed away on August 25, 2012, at the age of 88.  She is survived by her devoted husband of 65 years, Francis J. Daly, also of Scituate, as well as by her sons Stephen Daly of Boston, and John F. Daly of Washington, D.C., her grandson Colm James Daly of Scarborough, Maine, her sister Isabelle McDermott of Scituate, several dear nephews and cousins, and many good friends.  She was a graduate of Framingham State College and earned a graduate degree from Simmons College, and taught a generation of students at Scituate, Hull, and Brookline High Schools.

The family will receive visitors at the McNamara-Sparrell Funeral Home in Cohasset from 4-8 pm on Wednesday, August 29, 2012.  A funeral mass will be said by her nephew, Fr. Timothy Daly, at St. Mary of the Nativity Church in Scituate, at 10 am.  Friends are invited to make donations in her memory to the Brookline High School Allen-Meyers Graduate Fund, 115 Greenough St., Brookline MA 02445.  or to the charity of their choice.
