November 18, 1946 – January 30, 2025
Patricia Eileen (Powers) Clancy, a resident of Duxbury and Marshfield, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on January 30, 2025 at the age of 78. Born in Boston to Emma Powers and the late Thomas Powers. She was big sister to Kathleen DeLano and her husband Steven of Kingston. She was the beloved wife of the late Laurence D. Clancy, with whom she shared 49 years of marriage. Patricia is survived by her loving children, Laurence David Clancy and his wife Kathleen (Garvin) of Duxbury, and Heather Leff and her husband Larry of Scituate. She was the devoted Nana to David, Elizabeth, and Colleen Clancy and Abigail and Hannah Leff, who brought immense joy to her life. Aunt Pat was the proud aunt to several nieces and nephews. Patricia graduated from Weymouth High School in 1964 and attended Eastern Nazarene College, eventually receiving her associate's degree from Northeastern University. Pat worked in hematology at Quincy City Hospital and Commonwealth Hematology and Oncology in Milton. Patricia was known for her warm heart and fierce dedication to her family. She enjoyed travelling, doing puzzles, and making memories with her grandkids. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Family, friends, and others are invited to the McNamara Funeral home in Norwell on Friday, February 7th at 11am, to reminisce and honor the life of Patricia. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Patricia's memory to the Breakthrough T1D or the Pan Mass Challenge .
