Paul William Coady, 67, of Wollaston MA, formerly of Cohasset MA, passed away Thursday, December 8, 2011 in hospice care after a brief illness, surrounded by his family. The son of the deceased Francis R. Coady and the recently deceased Eunice M. Coady, Paul was the second of 11 children.
He was a graduate of Archbishop Williams High School and attended Hofstra University. Mr. Coady, past owner of Jeremy's Saloon, Hanover, MA, was also a New England Scout for the Montreal Canadiens and the Phoenix Coyotes of the National Hockey League. He was a member of the International Union of Bricklayers and Allied Craftsmen, Local 3 and an avid sailor and skier. He is survived by eight siblings: Francis, Lee, Dennis, Cissie Cullivan, Greg, Lisa Coady Maso, Sean, and Judith Benzaquin, and pre-deceased by brothers Peter and Mark.
After a private family service, a reception in Paul's honor will be held at the home of his sister, Judith Benzaquin, 431 Circuit Street, Norwell MA at a future date. Friends of Paul's are invited to reach out to members of the family for further details.
