Paul Augustine Colbert, Atty, 84, of Scituate, MA passed away on December 23, 2014. Beloved husband of Catherine M. (Ballantine), devoted father of Maureen and Alfredo of Sandwich, Vincent and Marie of Walpole, Timothy and Natalie of Plymouth, Patrick and Dominique of San Diego, and Mary Kate of Jamaica Plain.

Son of the late Thomas F. and Helen M. (Higgins) of Somerville.  Preceded in death by his siblings Marjorie, Thomas, Walter, Robert, Rev. John J., Rev. Arthur T. SSJ, Richard and James.  He is survived by his siblings Francis X. of Madison, NJ, Mary C. Connor of Baltimore, MD, Sister Helen Thomas, CSJ, of Brighton, and Helen M. Conroy of Guilford, CT. Cherished grandfather of Paul, Erik, Matthew, Peter, Amanda, Morgan, Daniel, Joseph, Lily, Owen, Jack, Harrison, Makena, Sean, and Vivian.

Graduate of St. Clement's High School, Somerville; St. John's Seminary - 2 years; served in the U.S. Army in France - 2 years.  Tufts University, Class of 1955.  Suffolk Law, Class of 1958.  Worked with U.S. Social Security Administration in Baltimore and Boston, 1961 - 1986; Practiced law privately in Scituate.

Soccer coach, referee and all-around super fan of his children and grandchildren.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary of the Nativity Church in Scituate Harbor, at 10 a.m. on Monday, December 29th.  Visiting hours Sunday, December 28th, 2-5 p.m. at the McNamara-Sparrell Funeral Home, 160 So Main St.. (across from St. Anthony Church), Cohasset.  Interment Cudworth Cemetery, Scituate. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Sisters of Saint Joseph of Boston, 637 Cambridge Street, Brighton, MA 02135; and to Scituate Etrusco Association, P.O. Box 265, Scituate, MA 02066.
