Paula (Chisholm) Dunn, age 79, of Shrewsbury, died on April 8, 2014 after a courageous battle with Progressive Supranuclear Palsy. Born August 27, 1934 in Medford Mass, she grew up in Wellesley and summered in North Scituate. Daughter of the late Harold and Dorothea (Cunningham) Chisholm, and sister of the late John K.Chisholm.

Paula was a graduate of Newton Country Day School and Marymount College New York after graduating she raised her family in Wellesley. From her early years in Scituate Paula developed a lifelong love of the ocean, walks on the beach and golf.  Paula will always be remembered for her great sense of humor, love of sports, close friendships and vivacious personality.

The mother of Heather (Philip) Ruggiero  of West Newbury, Kate Brady of Maine,  Rob (Linda Hausseler) Dunn  of Shrewsbury, Jennifer (Kevin) Regan of Westwood, David (Kathryn Biggs) of Hull. Grandmother of Philip and Victoria Ruggiero; Sarah, Trevor and Daniel Brady; Julia Dunn; Jonathan and Bradford Regan; Megan, Leah and Ryan Dunn, and the great grandmother of Brady Livas. Sister of Patricia Chisholm of Natick, Mary Sullivan and her husband Paul of Falmouth and the sister in-law of Susan (Reardon) Chisholm of Wellesley. She also leaves a large close-knit family of cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, April 16, 2014, 11:00 am at the Parish of Saint Anthony, 10 Summer Street, Cohasset. Friends and relatives are welcome. Visiting hours 9:30-10:30 am, prior to mass at McNamara Sparrell Funeral Home, 1 Summer Street (across from St. Anthony Church), Cohasset. In lieu of flowers, donations in Paula's memory may be made to Heritage Museums & Gardens, 67 Grove Street, Sandwich MA 02563 or Tufts Paws for People , Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University, 200 Westboro Road , North Grafton, MA 01536 .
