Peter Napier (88), a longtime resident of Boston, MA and current resident of Hingham, MA, passed away last Friday, February 28, 2025. He was born in 1936 in Pennsylvania, and lived a life marked by intellectual curiosity, professional accomplishment, and deep devotion to his family.

Peter was the beloved husband of Elena Napier and a loving father to his daughters, Arianne and Tanya. He was also a proud and supportive stepfather to Lidia and Anna, and a cherished grandfather who brought warmth and joy to Ava and Olga. Peter's kindness, wisdom, and generosity touched the lives of all who knew him.

A scholar at heart, Peter earned his double undergraduate degree from Swarthmore College before pursuing and completing a doctorate degree from The Technical University of Munich.
