Peter S. Silvia, age 61, of Brockton, formerly of Norwell, on April 10, 2011. Beloved father of Joshua of Taunton, Jennie of Brockton, Katherine Carlson of East Taunton, Lauren Holleran of Taunton. Son of the late Joseph M. and Pauline A. (Turcotte) Silvia. Brother of joseph M. of Rockland, Louise M. Belisle of East Bridgewater, Elizabeth C. Silvia of Marshfield, Paulette M. Silvia of Hanson. Loving grandfather of Julia and David Anderson, Stephen Silvia, Daniel Kline, Mia Carlson, Anya-Lee Holleran.

Peter worked at the Brockton United States Post Office on Commercial Street as a Postal Clerk and retired after 35 years. Peter was a graduate of Norwell High School, Class of 1967 and attended UMass Amherst. He also served in the Untied States Air Force from 1968 to 1972.

Service Information

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, April 14, 2011 at 9 am in St. Helen Church, 383 Washington St. (Rt. 53), Norwell, MA. 02061.
