Raffaele Devito, age 89, of Cohasset, passed away peacefully on January 28, 2022. Beloved husband for 65 years to  Illuminata (Chilla) and devoted father of Lucia Doria and husband Jack of Braintree, and Pina Downing of Cohasset. Loving Nonno of Lisa Doria of Braintree, Stephanie Doria of Braintree, and Jonathan Downing of Denver, CO. Son of the late Giuseppe and Lucia Devito. Brother of Frank Devito of Quincy, and the late Antonio Devito and Rocco Devito. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and family in both Italy and the US.

Mr. Devito was born in Amaroni, Italy and moved to the US in 1970, settling in Cohasset. He worked tirelessly in maintenance for South Shore Publishing and later for the Police Department and Town Hall in Scituate. Raffaele loved gardening, planting trees, flowers and vegetables, but above all was devoted to his family.
