Ralph L. Ripley III of Norwell, MA died October 7, 2015 after living 82 notable years. Ralph passed away from renal failure resulting from prolonged kidney disease.  He was born in Norwell, MA to Emily Simmons Ripley and Ralph L. Ripley Jr.  He is survived by his wife, Judith; his four children, Kimberly, Janice, Karen and Scott; his granddaughter, Morgan; his three stepchildren, Mark, John and Christie; and his brother, Preston.  He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict and a graduate from the University of Arizona.  Ralph's mechanical engineering background was evident in all aspects of his life, from his long and successful career with Procter & Gamble to his meticulous and detailed-oriented household "fix-it" projects.  His personality was a fusion of firm character and compassionate heart.  He was of strong mind, will, and body until the very end.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 15 from 3PM to 7PM at McNamara-Sparrell Funeral Home, 30 Central Street (off Rt. 123, near State Police Barracks), Norwell, MA.  Funeral will be held at Church Hill United Methodist Church, 11 Church Street, Norwell, MA on Friday, October 16, 2015 at 11AM.
