Randolph "Randy" E. Wright, of Norwell, MA; Naples, FL; East Hampton, NY, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on January 25, 2023 at the age of 77. A graduate of University of Massachusetts Amherst with a degree in Landscape Architecture, Randy retired as the proud owner and President of Garden Craft Inc. in Hanover and Norwell. Garden Craft, a Hanover institution, was founded by Randy's parents Donald and Dorothy in 1947.  As a business leader Randy led the Massachusetts Nursery and Landscape Association as president, and was a foundational president of New England Grows, a horticulture industry trade show. Randy impacted the local community through involvement with the board of South Shore Bank, a trustee with South Shore Natural Science Center and president of Derby Academy Parents Association. Randy was also a member of the Cohasset Golf Club. Randy was married to loving wife Sandy Wright for 57 years, and together they passed along their passions for travel, water skiing, and family time to their children Josh and Amy, and their grandchildren. He is predeceased by parents Donald and Dorothy Wright, and sister Ju dith Wright. Surviving family includes wife Sandy Wright, son Joshua Wright, daughter Amy Wright, and his five grandchildren, Kayleigh, Aidan, Collin, Nina, and Sammie. Memorial services will be held Friday February 3, 2023 at First Parish Church, 24 River Street, Norwell at 1:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Norwell Visiting Nurses Association, 120 Longwater Drive, Norwell, MA 02061.
