Rev. Gerald J. Hickey, age 81, of Scituate, passed away peacefully on October 17, 2018. Gerry was the loving son of the late Edward V. and Marian Hickey and the devoted brother of the late William E. Hickey, Francis C. Hickey, and Edward Hickey. Gerry was the beloved uncle of many nieces and nephews. He is also survived by many close friends. Family and friends are invited to attend visiting hours on Sunday, Oct. 21, 2018 from 3-6 pm in McNamara-Sparrell Funeral Home, 30 Central St. (off Rt. 123, near State Police Barracks), Norwell Center, MA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 am in St. Mary of the Nativity, 1 Kent St., Scituate Harbor, MA. 02066 on October 22, 2018.
