Richard S. Coakley age 69, of Cohasset, passed away on July 30, 2019 after a sudden illness. Beloved husband of Linda DeRosa-Coakley. Devoted father of Abigail Davis and husband Martin, Jr of Whitman and Meagan Coakley of Cohasset.  Grandfather of Aili Popps-Davis. Brother of Wayne Coakley of Tampa, FL and the late George Coakley of Brewster.

Born, raised, and educated in Brewster, MA, Richard graduated from Wentworth and began a long career with Pitney Bowes, where he worked until retiring in 2014 as a Special Projects Manager. An avid fan of anything fast, Richard especially loved his Porsche 911. He enjoyed traveling, but always came home to his beach in Brewster.

Family and Friends are invited to celebrate Richard during visiting hours on Sunday, August 4, 2019 from 1-3 pm, followed by a funeral service in the funeral home at 3 pm.
