Richard (Dick) Francis Davison, of Scituate, died  Tuesday, May 11, 2021 after a short illness. Dick is survived by his beloved wife of 58 years Averill L. Davison.  He was born on May 9, 1936 in Weymouth, Massachusetts and is predeceased by his brother William Davison II, his sister  Marjorie Donovan and his nephew William Davison III. He is survived by nephews, nieces, grandnieces and grandnephews.

He graduated from Weymouth High School Class of 54 and attended Northeastern University.  He worked for many years with New England Telephone as an installer before retiring from AT&T. Dick will be remembered for puttering in his yard and gardening. Dick also enjoyed taking drives in his red Chevy truck, following the weather, chatting with neighbors and doing crossword puzzles.

Family and friends are invited to attend visiting hours on Tuesday, May 18, 2021 from 9-10 am in McNamara- Sparrell Funeral Home, 1 Summer Street, Cohasset, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in St. Anthony Church, Cohasset. Interment St. Mary Cemetery, Scituate. In lieu of flowers, donations to honor Dick may be made to the American Heart Assoc. or Alzheimer's Assoc.
