Richard E. STEPHENS,  of Scituate age 82 passed away after a lengthy illness.  Dick leaves behind his brother Fred and Thelma of Wolfeboro, NH, niece Nancy and Michael DeMattia of Norwood,  nephew David and Rachel of Wellesley, and very close friend Ron Carty.  Dick graduated from Newton High School, Newton, Ma., and Wesleyan University in Connecticut.  He gave three years of his life to The US Army in Seoul, Korea.  Memorial Service Monday, August 24th at 11 AM at McNamara Funeral Home, 1 Summer Street, Cohasset, Ma. 02025.   Burial will be private in Chatham, Ma.  In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Dick's memory to Vineyard House. 15 Church Street, Vineyard Haven, Ma. 02568.
