Rita M. (Daniels) Ewart, age 90, of Norwell, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on October 27, 2020. Loving wife of Albert R. Ewart. Beloved mother of Kerry Jeanne O'Hara and husband Donald of East Bridgewater, Jane Elizabeth Ewart of Norwell, John Albert Ewart and wife Barbara of Middleboro, and Craig Hamilton Ewart of Norwell. Loving and adoring Gammie of Christi, Jenifer, Joshua, Marc, Sean, Megan, Todd, Stephen and Courtney and 14 great-grandchildren. Sister of the late Donald (Daniels) Ainslie.

Rita was born in Hanover. She was raised and educated in Cohasset, a graduate of Cohasset High School. An amazing cook and baker, Rita was a devoted wife and mother, who truly loved children, taking care of many in her home for local families. She also truly loved animals, especially the family cats and dogs. Rita was an avid and faithful fan of the Red Sox and Celtics.

Rita's family wishes to extend their most sincere thanks to the team at Hospice of the South Shore, who provided her with dedicated care and attention.
