Robert E. "Bibbles" Barrow, age 83, of Cohasset, passed away on June 19, 2011, surrounded by family. Born and raised in Cohasset, Bob attended the public schools there. Shortly after, he enlisted in the U.S. Army, where he served in Germany as a cook and was honorably discharged as a Sergeant. Upon his return, he began working as a custodian in the Cohasset Schools Systems. He was a hard worker and everyone admired him. Bob loved the children he saw through his 42 years and the children loved him. He excelled in many sports, especially baseball. Having worked on a farm from a young age, he developed a life long love for gardening. He recently said, " I had a great life and if I did it again, I wouldn't change a thing."

Bob was the husband for more than 55 years of Ruth L. (Bennett) Barrow. Son of the late Joseph M. Barrow and Alberta M. (Frates) Barrow. Brother of the late Joseph, Richard, Edward, Helen Barrow and Jean (Barrow) Salvador. Bob was the devoted father of Sherry (Barrow) Ellis, Robert Barrow, Gary Barrow, Sandra (Barrow) Hanscombe and her husband Raymond, who was like a son to him, Sarah (Barrow) Sprague and her husband, Geoffrey. Grandfather of Charlie, Ariel, Tammy, Rachel, Christopher, David, Shane and Alexander; great-grandfather of Gabriel.
