Robert J. Candela- age 85, Of Cohasset, passed away on April 22, 2017.  Beloved husband of the late Dorothea and the cherished father of Ellen Candela of Cohasset.  Born in Wrentham to parents Alfred and Dora, he was preceded in death by his brother George and sisters Clara Sweeney and Laura Gabriele.  Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

His career in construction management of outstanding educational facilities at MIT and Harvard University provided Bob much enjoyment and the privilege to work with many talented people.  Bob enjoyed boating, music and caring for his family.  He will be greatly missed.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Bob's life during visiting hours on April 26, 2017 from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. in McNamara-Sparrell Funeral Home, 160 So. Main St. (across from St. Anthony Church), Cohasset followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Anthony's Church, 10 Summer St. Cohasset at 10 am.
