Robert E. Martin, Jr, age 82, of Hull, died suddenly on January 10, 2013 at home. Mr. Martin was the loving father of Geoffrey Martin of South Boston, Craig Martin of Scituate. He was the brother of Dorothy Bradley of Braintree and Marguerite Jordan of Quincy and the late Celeste DiMambro. He is the devoted grandfather of Daniel and Savannah Morrissey Martin.

Mr. Martin was the President and Owner of The Goodale Co. in Cohasset and was a member of the American Legion Post. He was also a veteran of the Korean War, serving in the US Navy.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, January 16, 2013 at 11 am in St. Mary of the Assumption Parish at St. Ann Church, 208 Samoset Ave., Hull, MA. 02045. Visiting hours Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2013 from 3-7 pm in McNamara-Sparrell Funeral Home, 1 Summer St. (Across from St. Anthony Church), Cohasset, MA. 02025. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, donations in Mr. Martin's honor may be made to Earthen Vessels, 170 Appleton St., Cambridge, MA 02138
