IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Robert Bruce
Mullaly
February 7, 1935 – May 24, 2025
Robert B. Mullaly, 90 of Hingham, formally of Concord, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Saturday, May 24, 2025
Robert was born to the late John H. and Catherine A. Mullaly and was raised in Medford. Robert graduated from Medford High School and earned a college degree from Northeastern University. He had a long career working as a mechanical engineer for several different companies in Massachusetts. Robert resided in Concord, Burlington and Hingham.
Beloved father of two children: daughter Susan Mullaly (deceased); son John Mullaly and wife Beth of Cohasset. He was also the loving grandfather "Grampy" of Hannah and Jack Mullaly. He was also the brother of Joan Longley and the late Barbara Brown and Richard Mullaly.
Robert was predeceased by ex- spouse Patricia Mullaly of West Roxbury.
Robert was a devoted father and grandfather and had many interests including skiing and boating. Most winters he could be found up in the New England ski country with family. He was always looking to be one of the one of the first skiers on the mountain and one of the last to leave on any given snow day. He especially enjoyed racing down a mountain with his close cousin the late Robert Strahan of Arlington. Robert also enjoyed spending time with family at his property on Black Cat Island on Lake Winnipesaukee in New Hampshire. A constant joker Robert loved to laugh.
The family would like to thank the dedicated staff of Rose Court at Linden Ponds in Hingham for their care.
