Robert F. Rappold "Bob" of Scituate passed away November 26, 2024 surrounded by his loving family. He is survived by his devoted wife Mary of 30 years; his daughter Krista (Timothy) Sommers, stepchildren Michael Infusino and Nicholas (Maggie) Infusino, also his daughter in law Ashley Rappold. He will be greatly missed as "Grampy" to Owen, Kate, and Ryan Sommers, Adeline, Lydia and Nolan Infusino, and James Rappold. He also leaves behind his sister Denise (David) Chausse, brother Dana (Eileen) Rappold. Siblings Christopher, Edward, Erika (Harris) Rappold, and Stepmother Rosemarie Rappold. Bob was sorrowfully predeceased by his Son, Barret Rappold. Not to be overlooked, his cherished dog Max.

Bob retired from the Scituate Police Department after 34 years. During his career he spent time as Detective, a role that brought him much fulfillment; he enjoyed telling his family and friends tales of his exploits. He was also a member at the Satuit Boat Club, and Wednesday night sailing crew; he loved being on the water sailing his Catalina 36, and later fishing from his 28ft Albin. Recently, Bob found new excitement on the greens of Widows Walk, playing rounds of golf with The Men's Senior League.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 10am Friday, December 6th, at Saint Anthony's Church-10 Summer St., Cohasset. Visiting hours will be held Thursday, December 5th from 4-7pm at McNamara-Sparrell Funeral Home, 1 Summer St. Cohasset. Burial will be private.
