Robert "Rob" Ross passed away on February 14, 2022, at the age of 80 in Needham, Massachusetts.  His struggles with medical issues in recent years showed his courage in facing life challenges with a smile.  Despite it all, Rob came out a hero and stayed strong until the end.

Rob grew up in Lincoln, MA and moved to Wayland, MA in the mid-seventies where he resided until his passing.  Rob loved the community he lived in and often referred to it as 'out here in the country.'  He was an avid biker in his younger years where you would often see him riding his bike around town or to work.  In later years, he began walking and it wouldn't be unusual for him to walk up to 3 miles a day.

Rob is survived by his daughter Katherine Ross and her wife Pamela Venti, and grandchildren, Jake and Emerson of Needham, MA.  Daughter, Dana Ross and grandson Zachary Bruso of Lynn, MA.

A private graveside ceremony will be held on Friday, February 18th, 2022 at the Lincoln Cemetery in Lincoln, MA. Consider donations to the Lewy Body Dementia Society or the Animal Rescue League of Boston.
