Robert Whitcomb Turner, Jr., age 55, a lifelong resident of Norwell, passed away Tuesday, October 28, 2014 after a battle with cancer. Beloved son of Robert W. Turner, Sr. and the late Joan (Murphy) Turner. Loving brother of Kathleen Belyea and husband Robert of Norwell, Susan Yalenezian and fiancé James Demers of Rockland, Richard Turner of Brattleboro, VT.,  Jonathan Turner and wife Cheryl of North Attleboro. Loving uncle of Andrea, Emily, Sara, Rachael, Samuel, and Jacob.

Bob was a graduate of Norwell High School and was employed by the Norwell School Systems as maintenance and custodian for 37 years. Bob was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying fishing, lobstering, hunting and much more. He was a dedicated fan of the Boston Bruins. Bob could be seen any given day after or before work, cutting wood in his yard.

Relatives and friends are welcome to visiting hours Friday, Oct. 31, 2014 from 3-7 pm in McNamara-Sparrell Funeral Home, 30 Central St. (off Rt. 123, near State Police Barracks), Norwell Center. A Private graveside service will be held at Washington Street Cemetery, Norwell.
