Ronnie A. Slocumb, age 72, of Norwell, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on June 21, 2022.  Loving wife of her late husband Richard Slocumb, and devoted mother of son Mackenzie Slocumb, and step-son Nicholas Slocumb and wife Jackie of Center Conway, NH.   Adoring grandmother of Emily, Avacyn and Walter Slocumb.   Survived by her sisters Karen Dinsmore and her late husband Steve, and Bennette Hirsch and her husband Don.  Loving Aunt to Jake and Sam Hirsch.  Predeceased by her parents Rae Holzman and Harold Holzman.

Ronnie's passion was her artwork and writing.  She wrote a column for the Norwell Mariner called "Ronnie's Rants", where she was able to show her sense of humor and sharp wit.  She loved children and worked in childcare for many years.  She loved being outdoors either walking, day trips or in the mountains or at the beach.

A Funeral Service will be held Monday, June 27, 2022 promptly at 12pm in the McNamara-Sparrell Funeral Home-30 Central Street, Norwell Center. Visitation from 11-12pm prior. Relatives and friends invited to attend.

In leu of flowers donations can be made out to Cops For Kids with Cancer and or St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
