Russell Fredrick Hamblin 82 of Norwell Ma. Passed away on Sunday September 29, 2024 at Sachem nursing home.

Born in Boston Ma. in 1942 to Charles Hamblin and Florence (Lee) Hamblin. He graduated from Abington High School, and proudly joined the Navy in 1961.

He was the husband of the late Sandra (Cole) Hamblin of Norwell. He is survived by one sister Judy Nickerson of Pembroke, three children Genine Murray of Hanson, Christopher Hamblin of Hanson, and Mary Noonan of East Bridgewater, and had 6 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

A visitation will be held on Friday, October 4, 2024 from 4-7pm at the McNamara-Sparrell Funeral home-30 Central Street, NORWELL. United States Military Honors will be conducted by the US Navy promptly at 4pm. Relatives and friends invited to attend. Interment will be private.
