Ruth F. (Meagher) Devine, age 68, of Scituate, passed away on February 17, 2012. Ruth was the former spouse of James J. Devine, and the devoted mother of Marta Botch and her husband, Michael of PA, Julie Devine of Green Harbor, Eileen Devine of Scituate, James K. Devine and his wife, Jacqui of Quincy, and Maura Devine of Scituate. She was the sister of Maura E. Rand of Marshfield, David J. Meagher of Duxbury, and the late Frederick A. Meagher, Jr. Ruth was the adoring grandmother of David, Mary, Grace, Evan, and Reece.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, February 22, 2012 at 10 am in St. Anthony Church, Cohasset. Visiting hours Tuesday, Feb. 21 from 3-8 pm in McNamara-Sparrell Funeral Home, 1 Summer St. (directly across from St. Anthony Church), Cohasset. Interment Holyhood Cemetery, Brookline.
