Ruth (Grant) O'Rourke, of Cohasset age 90, died peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, March 19, 2015. Beloved wife of the late Joseph J. O'Rourke, she was the devoted mother of Patricia Kelley of Canton, Ann Whitney and husband Andy of Cohasset, and Suzanne Chansky and husband Daniel of Wenham: Grandmother of Nicole Whitney of Boston, Andrew Whitney of Cohasset, Philip Chansky, Benjamin Chansky and Pamela Chansky all of Wenham. She was also the loving sister of the late Philip Grant, Margaret Zizis, Andrew Grant and Beatrice Grant. Born in Quincy and raised in Newton Lower Falls, she and Joe moved to Cohasset 55 years ago where she raised her family. She has many special interests, worked at Talbots of Hingham, and dedicated her life to embracing her family. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on March 23, 2015 at 10 am in St. Anthony's Parish, 10 Summer Street, Cohasset, MA. In lieu of flowers, donations in Ruth's memory may be made to Saint Anthony's Church, Cohasset, MA.
