Ruth Elizabeth Pearson Lakso of Hanover, MA passed away on March 30, 2018. She was 89 years old, having been born on September 30, 1928. She is survived by her two daughters, Janet Lakso-Gary and Peggy Blanchard, son in law, Thomas Gary and former son in law, Robert Blanchard. She also leaves six grandchildren, Michael Gary, Adam Gary, Elizabeth Merrill, Katharine Ross, Robby Blanchard and Kelsey Blanchard, as well as nine great grandchildren. She has three surviving sisters out of a family of thirteen, Joan Williamson, Janet Charron and Nancy Smith.

Ruth attended St. Andrews Episcopal Church in Hanover and was an active member of the Hingham Community Bible Study. There will be a private memorial service with family at a future date. Burial will be in the Forest Hill Cemetery in Fitchburg, MA where Ruth grew up.
