Sam Cody Gammon, 31 of Norwell Ma. Passed away on September 21, 2025 at his group home unexpectedly but peacefully in his sleep. Sammy was born in Boston on December 13, 1993 and second son to Stephen "Sonny" Gammon and Karen (Curley) Gammon. Sammy attended Scituate Public Schools Special Education Program, The Pilgrim Area Collaborative and The May Institute.

Sammy was so loved, and many people brought their love and joy to him. Sam's Shore Acres community, friends and relatives always welcomed Sammy as their own and he had special nicknames for all. Sammy enjoyed his life on the beach and everything pirate. Lobster and apple pie and pizza were on the top of his list! Sam loved music, dancing, full moon parties, howling at the moon, watching movies and hot tub. Sammy had a rich and full life.

Sammy is survived by his parents, his brother Brenton Gammon and wife Sarah along with their sons Sonny and Davis. His brother-like cousin Alex Danowski, all of Scituate. And many other loving aunts, uncles and cousins.

Also, Special people who he loved were his Aunt Lisa and Fran Mahoney (Wormyworm).

At Sammy's group home in Norwell he was surrounded by people who loved him and cared for him with such sweetness. They are: Rita Andrade, Delano Kiam, Kevin Silva, Isaura Ateku, Cynthia Muthoni, Loodjena Jules, Vanessa Pires, Joanne Smith.

A Visitation and Funeral will be held on Saturday, October 4, 2025 from 1-4pm at the McNamara-Sparrell Funeral Home-1 Summer Street, Cohasset. A Funeral Service will begin promptly at 4PM by Rev. Maggie Arnold. Relatives and friends invited to attend.

After leaving the funeral home there will be a happy reception at The Scituate Community Building at 44 Jericho Rd in Scituate.
