Samuel "Buddy" C. Callis, Jr. of Miami, Fl, formerly of Scituate, MA passed away peacefully on April 21, 2025. Son of the late Samuel C. Callis, Sr, and the late Anne G. (Barry) Callis.  Devoted brother of Mary Sue Callis of Las Vegas, NV and Scituate, Sandra (and the late Murtaugh) Hunt of Hopkinton, NH, Joseph (Karen) Callis) of Tyngsborough, Jan (Helen) Callis of South Weymouth, Mark (Pamela) Callis of Naples FL, Madalin Callis  (Robert Ginn) of Pembroke, Barry Callis of Carver and Anne (Patrick Killory) of Plymouth. Loving Uncle to many nieces and nephews. Also survived by many close and dear friends. Proud US Army Vietnam Veteran.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, April 29, 2025 at 11am at St. Mary of the Nativity-1 Kent Street, Scituate Harbor, Scituate. Visitation will be held prior to Mass from 10-10:45am at the McNamara-Sparrell Funeral Home- 1 Summer Street, Cohasset, MA. Interment will be held at St. Mary's Cemetery, Scituate.
