Samuel John Spinzola, Jr., age 58, of Weymouth, formerly of Cohasset, passed away unexpectedly on October 29, 2013. Devoted son of Samuel J. Spinzola Sr. of Cohasset and the late Eunice (Clapp) Spinzola. Beloved brother of Nicholas Spinzola of Scituate, Peter Spinzola of Scituate, Charles Spinzola of Cohasset, Ann Beers of Reno, NV., Sandra Spinzola of Fitchburg, and Lu Anne Sousa of Scituate.

John was a veteran of the US Army, serving during Vietnam and worked for the US Post Office as a mail handler.

Visiting hours Tuesday, Nov. 5, 2013 from 11-12 noon at the McNamara-Sparrell Funeral Home, 1 Summer St. (across from St. Anthony Church), Cohasset, MA. followed by a graveside service at the V.A. Mass. National Cemetery, Bourne, MA at 1:45 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to honor John may be made to the Joslin Diabetes Clinic, 1 Joslin Place, Boston, MA. 02215.
